While the media may scream at presumed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump any time he makes a flattering comment about a woman, it turns out he’s not the presidential candidate who objectifies the female form the most. That honor, it seems, goes to the Democrat front-runner, Hillary Clinton.
Hillary’s objectification was shared on the Ellen DeGeneres show Monday, when pop star Christina Aguilera talked about a photo that caught Hillary Clinton staring at her breasts. The incident occurred after a fundraiser that Aguilera had hosted for Clinton.
“There’s a picture of you — was it you staring at Hillary or you staring at Hillary?” host DeGeneres asked.
“She was staring at my bosoms,” Aguilera said, laughing.
The photo seems pretty obvious about what Clinton is interested in.
“It’s amazing, it’s awesome,” Aguilera said. “She supports the girls.”
“I know you just had a fundraiser for her at your house,” DeGeneres said.
“I did, I did,” Aguilera replied, “she’s amazing.”
“That’s fantastic,” DeGeneres said.
You can watch the exchange here, with the relevant portion of the interview occurring just after the 2:10 mark:
According to People, Aguilera is a major supporter of Clinton.
“Christina has always been someone to support freedom of speech and encourage people that voting matters,” the magazine said about the fundraiser. “When Hillary announced she was running, Christina and her immediately connected. Christina has been outspoken about having strong female role models and she feels Hillary is just that — fearless and a fighter.”
“Christina didn’t want this to feel like a stuffy event but wanted people to really relax and feel at home and put the focus on Hillary first and foremost,” the source added. Meanwhile Hillary’s focus was, um, elsewhere.
Well, I guess ogling runs in the family. The photos are sure to reignite the rumors that Clinton has sapphic tendencies and remind America that when it comes to the objectification of women, the Clintons have always been at the forefront.
