SMOKING GUN? Leaked Email Suggests Hillary Got $12 Million As Quid Pro Quo For Meeting In Morocco

A new email released by WikiLeaks strongly suggests that the Clinton Foundation was an instrument through which Hillary and Bill Clinton traded access for money.

The January 2015 email from Clinton aide Huma Abedin to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign manager Robby Mook, shows that Clinton was promised a donation of $12 million dollars from the King of Morocco to the Clinton charity in 2014. In return, the Clinton Global Initiative promised to host its international meeting in the nation of Morocco.

“This was [Hillary Clinton’s] idea, our office approached the Moroccans and they 100 percent believe they are doing this at her request,” Abedin wrote. “The King has personally committed approx. $12 million both for the endowment and to support the meeting.”

But the meeting in Morocco appeared to be less about the Clinton Foundation’s charitable efforts and more about Hillary’s personal presence.

“Just to give you some context, the condition upon which the Moroccans agreed to host the meeting was her participation,” Abedin added. “If [Hillary] was not part if it, meeting was a non-starter.”

On the eve of Hillary announcing her presidential campaign, the meeting in Morocco became an issue. However, with $12 million on the line, it would be hard for Clinton to back out on such short notice.

“It will break a lot of china to back out now when we had so many opportunities to do it in the past few months,” Abedin said. “She created this mess and she knows it.”

Indeed she did.
