In a celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Donald Trump ordered up a taco bowl and snapped a tweet captioned: “Happy Cinco de Mayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”

The gesture was met with mixed response, with some viewing the move as patronizing. But it was the image buried beneath a stack of papers on his desk that has since been getting attention.
As it turns out, the image is actually a picture of his ex-wife Marla Maples , which came from a recent article in People Magazine.
Twitter has since erupted in a firestorm over the revelation that Trump still keeps tabs on his former wife.
Imagine 36,000 people retweeting an image you posted that showed you were still keeping tabs on your ex.

Again–the candidate for a major party. For the office of President of the United States. https://t.co/YvsCBeBdKo

While it might be humorous to imagine a presidential candidate and billionaire combing the tabloids for stories about his ex, given Trump’s personality, some might not find this surprising.
Trump has been known to be very involved in his relationships, both professional and personal, and often keeps tabs on people of interest. Considering he has a child with Maples, who occasionally campaigned with her father, it is no surprise that such an article would be of interest.
The article in People details Maple’s relationship with Trump as well as their daughter Tiffany’s interaction with her father and extended family.
