Trump Clinches The GOP Nomination, Here Are The Delegate Totals

Although Donald Trump has been the presumptive nominee since Senator Ted Cruz and Governor John Kasich departed dropped out of the GOP primary in April, the real estate mogul has officially accumulated enough delegates to to clinch the Republican presidential nomination according to the Associated Press.

The announcement comes after Trump took 40 of 44 delegates in Tuesday’s Washington primary.

The New York billionaire is now guaranteed victory on the first ballot when Republicans convene in July to nominate their choice for president.
