Ted Cruz wants to be the GOP nominee for president but a billionaire stands in his way. And so the Senator from Texas is doing all he can to surpass the bold and outspoken frontrunner, Donald Trump.
Cruz and his campaign team grabbed all 13 of the delegates at the Colorado GOP Convention on Saturday, taking the state by storm. But the victory appears to be tied to dirty politics. In addition to an interview that took place today in which a Trump representative told MSNBC that Cruz is using gestapo tactics, there are disturbing reports coming from various sources about what took place in Colorado.
Accusations are that the Cruz camp and GOP establishment leaders took the victory by banning Trump delegates and omitting them from the ballots, and listing Cruz delegates twice.
Look at the picture to the right. One Trump delegate (379) was not listed on the ballot while a Cruz delegate (378) was listed twice. And then there is the resolution created by Colorado Republicans for Liberty – a Cruz offshoot group — telling people not to vote for Trump (see photo above).
But the best way to explain the anti-Trump movement is via a video made by Trump supporter Larry Wayne Lindsey from Douglas County. He had his name removed from the ballot, and he is very upset.
