A 68-year-old Vietnam veteran was savagely beaten this Sunday after he dared to share his support for presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump at a gas station in Jacksonville, Florida.
According to local news station WJXT, the incident began when, while waiting in line inside the gas station, the veteran, Charlie Daniels, was asked by the cashier whom he intended to vote for in the November election
When he replied, “Trump,” the 6-foot-tall+, 210-pound+ black man standing behind him suddenly grew irate and began spewing racial slurs and expletives, until at last the infuriated goon exited the store.
When Daniels finished purchasing gas and stepped outside, however, he found the thug waiting for him.
“He said, ‘Hey, I need to talk to you,’” the veteran recalled. “I said, ‘Partner, I don’t want to talk to nobody. Look, that stuff is over with. I was just voicing an opinion. So were you. Come on, let me get some gas.”
Then this happened:
He reached over, grabbed me by [the] arm, turned me around and came down with his left hand. [He] knocked me down, and when I hit the ground, he said, “What do you think about Trump now you white mother mother******.” And then he started kicking me.
Because of the thug’s attack, Daniels cannot move his wrist and can hardly move his fingers.

The thug had yet to be apprehended by the afternoon of July 6, but according to WJXT, the attacker was caught on surveillance camera. Moreover, Daniels was adamant that the perpetrator needs to be charged with a hate crime.
“I don’t see why it’s not a hate crime with all the words he was saying,” the Vietnam veteran maintained. “It was all about me being a white man and supporting Trump. If that’s not hate, then I don’t know what is.”
I wholeheartedly agree!
