The following video below should stir the emotions of any red blooded, gun toting, Bible reading, God fearing, patriotic American… said another way… everyone except liberal politicians, and the fools who follow them.
The video is an interview with World War II Airborne combat veteran Warenn (Renn) Bodeker, from Plains, Montana, and it brought me to tears more than once. The laundry list of issues that Mr. Bodeker has with our government is so close to my own list of issues with the government, hearing him was like listening to my own thoughts. Anyone who knows me, if they saw a transcript of what he says, and didn’t hear his voice, would more than likely think it was me who was being transcribed… even the verbiage we use is virtualy identical.
The article says Warenn died at age 92, so I’m guessing the video was taken around age 90. Even at 90, Warenn is 5x the man most men I know today are, and 20x the man most of the youth I know today are. He’s a member of what is often referred to here in the U.S. as “The Greatest Generation,” and for good reason. Without bona fide heroes like Warenn, people like me would have never known what it was like to live in a truly mighty nation, and one that still had its moral compass intact too.
Neither of those are claims that can be made by today’s youth, thanks to a generation of self-serving career politicians, and self-serving career bureaucrats, almost all of whom put their own ambitions ahead of the nation’s, and now the country sits on the edge financial implosion, and forget about discussing a “moral compass.” Somehow that’s not “politically correct” to do anymore.
Wikipedia defined the Greatest Generation as:
“The Greatest Generation” is a term made popular by journalist Tom Brokaw to describe the generation who grew up in the United States during the deprivation of the Great Depression, and then went on to fight in World War II, as well as those whose productivity within the war’s home front made a decisive material contribution to the war effort, for which the generation is also termed the G.I. Generation.
During the interview, Warenn shares an experiences he had in a fox hole in World War II, and the story brings him to tears just telling it. When he talks about how, “Life had value, whatever the cost,” I could feel the tears streaming down my face… not for Warenn’s pain, but for how far this country has fallen. How did this country go from men like Warenn, to the imbeciles out marching for free college, $15 an hours jobs while in college, free healthcare… and on and on. When did Americans forget that there’s no such thing as a free lunch?
Referring back to when “life had value, Warenn says, “Whatever the cost, we have to fight for our freedom back.” We have to. As a member of the Oathkeepers, Warenn fought till his dying breath to preserve and uphold the same Constitution of the United States that trash like Barack Obama, and most of Congress (on both sides) spend entire terms constantly scheming for ways to circumvent.
Before his death, Warenn said he feared the American people were “leaving themselves wide open for takeover by a ruthless regime that is not standing up for our country, and doing as they should.”
Warenn goes on:
I hope that the Congress rises up, and takes a stand for the people of this county. What they’re doing now is not only destroying the people, but they’re destroying the whole country… 90% of them are traitors to this nation… and It’s time most of them get the hell out of there…
I feel the government is trying to break the American people… It’s like their goal is to take us from the greatest country in the world, to a country that’s been sold out, with the dollar on the verge of collapse, people don’t get it…
People will be starving for food… forget the dollar… they’ll be searching and fighting to find food… and we’ve shipped all our industry to foreign countries including over 50% of our food… It’s time Americans get back to work… and stand up for what’s right… even if it costs us our life… otherwise what do we have? They have total control over us… and I don’t want that… I want to be free.
I hope the American people wake up, and realize what is going on right in front of their eyes, and stop watching the television. All they have to do is look and listen, and they’ll see that we’re going to end up with NOTHING. Germany was taken over because people didn’t make a stand… and I see that happening here.
You can listen to the rest yourself…
