Right up until the vice presidential debate, many Americans – Democrat and Republican – thought Tim Kaine to be a pretty milquetoast kind of guy. No one knew much about him, so they simply assumed he was more on the benign side as politicians go. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
A new video put out by the Republican National Committee highlights just what kind of person Tim Kaine is. Kaine asked America to look into someone’s passions if we want to know the person. Well, looking at the passions of Tim Kaine, we find that he advocates for some of the most vicious and coldhearted criminals the dark underworld has to offer.
It appears that at every turn the American public has to seek out the true inner personalities of progressives masquerading as Democrats. Each of them – from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama, Al Gore to Tim Kaine – has a dark side to their personas that champions either the wicked or the greedy.
In Tim Kaine’s case, his secret persona has an affinity for murderers and rapists. The record shows that before and during his time in office, Kaine has sought to lessen hardships for people who have murdered and raped others. Maybe this is why he gets along with Hillary Clinton.
“When you want to know something about the character of someone in public life,” Kaine said, “look to see if they have a passion that began long before they were in office and that they have consistently held it throughout their career.”
Before he was a professional politician, Kaine did have a passion. He defended ruthless murders, trying to manipulate the judicial system on technical and manipulated grounds so that his despicable clients might go free.
Len Tuggle raped, sodomized, and murdered Jessie Geneva Havens after being paroled for murdering a 17-year old girl. Richard Lee Whittley sexually assaulted and murdered his elderly neighbor. Tim Kaine was their defense attorney.
Percy Walton brutally murdered three people. Jens Soering, a German national, and his girlfriend slaughtered a young couple without remorse. Tim Kaine was their defense attorney.
Whittley was sentenced to death for his crimes, a sentence that only comes with a unanimous consensus from the jury, yet even after being proven guilty and convicted by a jury of peers, Kaine, outside Whitley’s execution chamber, said, “Something personal in me will die today, too.”
Kaine even tried to have Soering extradited to Germany to avoid his life sentence. In Germany, he would have been eligible for parole in just two short years.
As Founder and Framer John Adams said long ago, every person in the American justice system deserves a competent defense. This is why Adams defended – and won acquittal for – the British soldiers involved in the Boston massacre.
However, refusing to accept a legal determination by a jury—and by unanimous vote—in a system he would have applaud had they been acquitted evidences Kaine as an ideologue who possesses no respect for the legal process but instead has every consideration for those who have no remorse in murdering other human beings, sometimes for a second, third, or fourth time.
Is this the kind of person we want as vice president, a position just one heartbeat away from the presidency? Is this the kind of person we want appointing and vetting attorney generals, judicial nominees, and even Supreme Court nominees?
Adams also said we are a “nation of laws, not of men,” meaning the law is equally applied to all and blindly. It would appear Kaine likes to usurp the punishments the law requires.
That is the passion of Tim Kaine.
