After the worst terror attack on American soil since 9/11, President Barack Obama chose to remind all of us to respect Muslims rather than call for the Islamic State group and other radical Islamic terrorists to be destroyed.
But this reaction was only the latest in Obama’s never-ending string of defenses of Islam. Fox News’ Sean Hannity compiled a video of multiple occasions where Obama has defended Islam and insulted Christianity.
“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism, it is an important part of promoting peace,” said Obama in one clip, according to Breitbart.
“Our enemies respect no religious freedom. Al Qaeda’s cause is not Islam. It’s a gross distortion of Islam,” he said in another.
“The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam,” he also said, which is perhaps his most infamous line regarding Islam.
Hannity then asked Breitbart’s national security editor, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, to explain what he thought about the apparently countless instances of Obama playing up Islam and slamming Christianity.
“Horrific! What nation are we? Who were the Founding Fathers?” exclaimed Gorka. “What Creator are they referring to in our founding documents? Are they referring to Allah or some nameless blob? No. They’re referring to the God of the New Testament.”
You can watch the full interview below. The montage of Obama’s comments on radical Islamic terrorism and Christianity begins at 5:36. (In addition to listening to his remarks, be sure to watch how grey his hair gets over time, it’s quite shocking. Apparently all of this support for radical Islam takes it out of you.)
If Obama spent as much time fighting the Islamic State group as he did trying to explain that they aren’t actually Muslims, they would have been defeated by now — and maybe 49 dead Americans would still be alive.
Our next president must defeat the Islamic State terror group. We don’t have a choice — either we win, or they do.
