Hillary Clinton was very quick to tell America how “shocked” she was by Donald Trump’s decade-old sexually charged comments about a beautiful woman. But, Mrs. Clinton conveniently forgot what she herself said about the antics of men on the prowl.
“I think we’re going to find some other things. And I think that when all of this is put into context, and we really look at the people involved here, look at their motivations and look at their backgrounds, look at their past behavior, some folks are going to have a lot to answer for,” Hillary said during a 1998 interview with Matt Lauer while making the case against Bill Clinton being forced out of the White House of his sexual antics.
The interview was conducted in the midst of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Bill Clinton vehemently denied he had done anything improper with the young White House intern – until the now infamous blue dress with his semen on it was produced by Lewinsky.
It was this interview where Hillary coined the phrase she had frequently used any time the Clinton’s faced a scandal. The “vast right-wing conspiracy” excuse uttered before Matt Lauer became her mantra every time she tried to convince the public there was nothing to see and that it was time to move on.
“This is—the great story here for anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it is this vast right-wing conspiracy that has been conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president. A few journalists have kind of caught on to it and explained it. But it has not yet been fully revealed to the American public. And actually, you know, in a bizarre sort of way, this may do it,” Hillary also said during the same Lauer interview in 1998.
As previously reported by the Angry Patriot, Hillary Clinton has a long history of attacking Bill Clinton’s victims and mistresses. She reportedly played an integral role in trying to destroy the character and integrity of every single woman who ever revealed she had willingly engaged in a sex act with Bill, or accused him of sexually assaulting her.
“This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to become president,” Hillary Clinton tweeted. Apparently she believes a man should be barred from the Oval Office if he utters lewd comments, but one should be allowed to remain there even if he has committed rape, sexual assault, and multiple marital affairs.
Now that it is Donald Trump’s turn in the ringer for his past exchanges with woman, Hillary is suddenly very easily shocked and offended. Trump’s remarks were crude, even if they are a common tone taken during private guy chats when bragging about their prowess with women. But, that’s all they were, just talk.
The fact that Trump said some crass things when talking about a beautiful woman pales in comparison to the actual deeds enacted by not just Bill Clinton, but Hillary too.
Hillary has shown far less respect for women than Donald Trump. Unless and until someone can prove Trump victimized a rape victim, neither Clinton has any room to claim moral superiority on the treatment of women issue.
