Hillary Clinton’s lies are well-known, well-documented, and well-despised. Some of them are even recorded on video for all to see.
One such lie caught on camera centers around her aircraft landing in Bosnia, on March 25, 1996. Clinton, accompanied by her then 16 year-old daughter Chelsea, was greeted by a band of well-wishers including a young girl who kissed her and presented her with a gift.

But that’s not the story Clinton repeated twelve years later while campaigning for President, in 2008. Not by a long shot.
On that occasion, Clinton told a completely different version of the landing – one that was much more exciting and adventurous and, well, not true.
“I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” Clinton recalled. Or, claimed to recall, just an air of laughter in her voice.
The video tells it all. Traveling with a CBS news crew, the greeting was caught on tape, as was the rest of the visit. Later in the evening, Clinton posed for photos with troops at a USO show where she sang with Sheryl Crow and laughed with comedian Sinbad. No signs of snipers.
Clinton repeated the lie once more in Dubuque, Iowa while making another campaign stop in December of that same year. Whether she is trying to make herself seem tough, or has become a compulsive liar we’re not sure. But at least these lies have finally been unearthed.
When asked by the Philadelphia Daily News about the lies surrounding the landing in Bosnia, Clinton declared “I say a lot of things — millions of words a day — so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement.”
A reporter from the Washington Post, a left-leaning newspaper, happened to be on that Bosnia trip with Clinton. When she heard of Clinton’s reconstruction of the events, she brought the deception to light — and the paper went on to award Clinton with four Pinocchios, their lying rating.
Still, Clinton remains unapologetic about her lie. Playing her lie off as a simple case of misspeaking, Clinton refuses to acknowledge her wrongdoing. It’s one thing to mispronounce a single word, its another to simply manufacture whole events that never happened.
In less than two weeks We the People will decide whether or not we want a Liar in Chief.
