A recent profile piece in The New York Times of President Barack Obama’s deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, in which he essentially bragged about deceiving the media and American about the details of the Iran nuclear deal, revealed the nature of the Obama administration to anyone who hadn’t been paying attention.
That admission was the likely impetus for Fox News White House correspondent Kevin Corke to ask a rather pointed question of White House press secretary Josh Earnest regarding the controversial deal and what the administration had been saying about it.
“Can you state categorically that no senior official in this administration has ever lied publicly about any aspect of the Iran nuclear deal?” Corke asked, according to TheBlaze.
Earnest seemingly replied “No,” followed by a long pause, before launching into yet another defense of the bad deal.

“I think that the facts of this agreement and the benefits of this agreement make clear that the national security of the United States of America has been enhanced and Iran’s effort to acquire a nuclear weapon has been set back,” he added.
Not satisfied with the non-answer, Corke pressed Earnest and asked him again if any members of the Obama administration had lied about the Iran deal.
Earnest again dodged the question, neither admitting or denying that lies had been told, merely stating, “There is no evidence that that ever occurred.”
Josh Earnest can play word games and semantics all he wants, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is a liar paid to lie on behalf of the liar in-chief who is in turn surrounded by fellow like-minded liars. The entire administration seems incredibly averse to the truth.
The administration lied to the media and the public about certain aspects of the Iran deal in order to play down worries and create a false narrative. While that may have worked with some of the lapdog media, it hasn’t worked with the American people, who have largely rejected the deal and no longer trust a word this administration says about it.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word that Obama spokesman Josh Earnest just lied to the press about lying to the press in regard to the Iran nuclear deal.
