Barack Obama’s central piece of legislation is the Affordable Care Act. He fought for it, he traveled the country telling people how good it would be, and he eventually got it passed.
Recently, Donald Trump posted a video of all the promises Obama made about Obamacare: if you like your doctor you can keep it. Obamacare will lower premiums! Trump’s response to this: Obamacare is a disaster. We must REPEAL & REPLACE.

This comes on the heels of the new report that Obamacare premiums are scheduled to rise by 22 percent. Simply, that is a burden many Americans can’t cope with. Besides, Obamacare is simply another way for the state to try and bud in between you and your doctor.
From the beginning, Obamacare was suspect. First, the Democrats struggled to make it law in the rightfully opposing Republican Congress. In the end, the Democrats used a loophole that allowed the bill to pass retroactively.
Then, the Affordable Care Act barely made it past the Supreme Court. There were multiple challenges of the legislation, but each time the court ruled in its favor by scant majority. Some say the legislation is still unconstitutional despite the Supreme Court’s ruling.
When touring around the country, before the law was passed, Obama made a lot of claims about this legislation. Primary among them is the now-famous line, “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” Shockingly, that turned out to be a lie. The same goes for Obama’s claim that his legislation would make health costs more affordable. It was right there in the name.
When it was revealed that premiums were going to rise, especially so dramatically, Obama had the audacity to say he should not be blamed for it. Why? Because he “can’t control” the premium price.
Obama and the Democrats need to answer for the lies they told and the trouble they have caused with their failed socialist policies.
Mr. Trump has promised to repeal and replace Obamacare within the first 100 days of his presidency. This gives us just one more reason to vote for Donald Trump.
Even the older representatives in the Republican party agree with newcomer Trump’s desire to replace Obamacare with a private solution that creates competition and lowers costs for all Americans. If Hillary Clinton is elected, we are facing at least four more years of Obama’s failed policies including a substantial increase to the already heavy burden Obamacare is placing on us.
