GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump is firing back at media critics who claim he’s failed to deliver money raised to benefit veterans groups. At a press conference at Trump Towers the New York businessman produced a list which breaks down which groups have received funds and total amount each has received.
“These are checks that have been delivered, that have been cashed, that are now being used to help veterans,” Trump told the press gathering as he read off the names of the organizations.
According to Trump’s account, $5.6 million has been disbursed to 42 veterans groups so far. Here’s the list that was distributed to the press:
