Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to pound Donald Trump as bad for women, but the GOP’s presumptive nominee isn’t taking it lying down. At a recent rally in Spokane, Washington, the New York billionaire fired back at the Democratic frontrunner. Trump cited Hillary’s husband, former president Bill Clinton, and his history of alleged philandering.
“She’s married to a man who was the worst abuser of women in the history of politics. She’s married to a man who hurt many women,” Trump told supporters in Spokane, Washington. “She’s married to a man who got impeached for lying. Nobody, perhaps in the history of politics, was worst to women or abused women more than Bill Clinton. And she’s taking negative ads on me.”
At another rally, Trump took aim at the candidate herself, calling her an “enabler” for trying to silence Bill’s accusers.
“She’s been the total enabler. She would go after these women and destroy their lives,” Trump said at the rally. “She was an unbelievably nasty, mean enabler, and what she did to a lot of those women is disgraceful.”
