Sheriff David Clarke weighed in on the violence that unfolded at Friday’s cancelled Donald Trump rally and what he has to say is spot on. The great Sheriff called the liberal attack “planned rebellions” that were “brought on by riot-starters.”
“You have to identify these creeps for who they are. They’re anarchists,” Clarke said. “They advocate violence, and they advocate chaos to bring down our legally constituted government.”
“These presidential candidates and their supporters have every right to participate in this process in our democratic state here in the United States of America,” he said on Cost of Freedom.
“And for that to be thwarted by these bullies, these goons, is downright wrong.”
The sheriff said he believes the Chicago Police “were under-resourced last night,” and should have been “able to accomplish their mission – which was to have this rally go on.”
“This rally was cancelled in the name of public safety. Why don’t we cancel these rebellions in the name of public safety?” he asked.
“When you’re facing a goon and a bully, what you have to do is you have to stand up to them.”
