Despite attempts by the Obama administration and some in the mainstream media to downplay the significance of the recently released House Benghazi investigation report, some of those most directly affected by the 2012 attack have reacted much differently.
Patricia Smith, whose son Sean was killed in the attack, spoke out against the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s involvement. She and others have previously accused Clinton of not only failing to provide the necessary security at the U.S. diplomatic post in Libya, but also lying about the cause of the attack.
“I would like to see Hillary in [prison] stripes,” Smith said. “I think she ought to be made to acknowledge what she did, and she has not.”
